*This is a new series where the Herald interviews a C-suite level member about the inner workings of the company.*

GT: So, I am sure most of our readers know who you are but for those who do not, can you tell me your name and position in the company please?

Peacock: I am Peacockastan, the current Chief Operating Officer.

GT: Did you hold any positions before becoming COO?

Peacock: Yes, I became VP-PR almost a month after joining the region and later held the position of CPO for about three months before I became COO.

GT: Very cool. So tell me, in your opinion what are the most important issues the company currently faces?

Peacock: The most important issue that this company faces by far is apathy. It really saddens me to see all of these amazing people in our region who aren't taking advantage of the many opportunities that we offer like military gameplay, government participation, or discord membership. Another issue that we face in my opinion is the lack of an established RP, however I hope that'll be fixed soon.

GT: RP is not something Lands End is known for but it seems a lot of people want it. What do you think is the best way to implement RP while staying true to the theme of the region?

Peacock: A lot of people obviously want to RP in a variety of different scenarios and that is very good for them, but theme wise, that would be best suited for either forum RP or the RP in our discord server. The theme of the region is very clear and I think that a sort of office RP would fit it very well and it wouldn't seem at all out of place in our region.

GT: Alright, so going back to what you said about Military Gameplay could you elaborate more on the options employees have in terms of raiding and defending?

Peacock: Well as some of the readers may know, the AA has a military organization known as the Joint Task Force. This organization is what is known in the NS community as "independent" or sometimes "neutral" meaning that we both raid and defend regions unlike other military orgs who usually specialize in one or the other, so if someone wanted to both raid and defend to get the whole NS military gameplay experience, then this is the org for them. The JTF runs both raiding and defending ops regularly and all are welcome as long as they are residents in an alliance region.

GT: What has been the JTF's role in the current war with The Pacific?

Peacock: The JTF is one of the major orgs organizing the Anti-Pacific Coalition, and has been working with the other orgs in the APC.

GT: Any major operations?

Peacock: Well the JTF has run multiple ops on NPO aligned regions like Warzone Airspace and the JTF also piled in St Abby when all of this started.

GT: Alright, what are your plans for the future in regards to Lands End, any special projects or events?

Peacock: My main goal as of right now is to fill as many government positions as possible and make the LE government more occupied than it's ever been. I also hope to see that nation count double eventually.

GT: Speaking of nation count, what are your plans for the Department of Recruiting?

Peacock: To hopefully completely revamp it and get a whole new crew of recruiters one day.

GT: Final question, what do you think sets us apart from other AA regions? Or what do you think we need to put LE ahead of the other Alliance Regions.

Peacock: The theme by far. If we want to stand out from all of the other regions in the AA then we need to really think about trying to implement the theme in even more ways.

GT: Alright then, thanks for agreeing to do this interview.

Peacock: It's been a pleasure.
